Assurance and Peer Reviews
-
Formal commercial assurance reviews.
Lead independent commercial assurance reviews prescribed by your project phase-gate processes in accordance with the required terms of reference. Typically, these will involve reviews of the analytical frame and outputs, commercial structure, agreements, marketing arrangements, and commercial risks and mitigants in order to assess their adequacy for the relevant project milestone.
-
Peer reviews
Provide independent peer reviews of your internal commercial work including negotiating strategies, commercial agreements, structuring, economic evaluations, and opportunity screening assessments.
-
Model assurance.
Provide detailed reviews of commercial/economic models and provide documented reports summarising their accuracy and efficacy. “Bottom up” reviews are based on detailed inspections of calculation accuracy and consistency, model structure, fiscal and tax modelling, and application of commercial terms (e.g. contract pricing). Additionally, “top down” reviews are employed for corroboration. This unique dual approach can only be offered due to MCA’s deep technical modelling expertise combined with real executive decision-making and project leadership experience.
Accurate assurance with constructive feedback may be more useful than the “rubber stamp” of a big-name accounting firm that typically relies on auditing software and junior staff to complete model reviews.
